Constitution Review Committee Appointed By Chairman Dirzius

NPC Chairman John H. Dirzius has appointed 5 members to review the current NPC Constitution and propose changes to the delegates at the March 2009 conference.

Rob Preston – Western Region

Jeanette Carlton – Central Region

Provisions the Committee Will Review

Current structure of the NPC
Changing the start day to Saturday and end at a define time on Monday
Training
Eliminating the Legislative Conference
Re-establishing the October Conference in the Convention year
Registration fees
Rebate policy
Allowing national officers to speak
Increasing the time a delegate can speak
Define the financial responsibility of both the NPC and Host Local/State
